Due to strict character licensing rules and copyright restrictions, the primary challenge of this project lay not in structural aesthetics, but in the rapid, absolute precision of the physical setup. The licensed partner required a 180m² pop-up retail venue built overnight inside a luxury shopping center.
As the Technical Staging Coordinator and Construction Director, my responsibilities were structured across two critical phases:
Carpentry framing completed in Zone A by Hour 12. Decal applications commenced by Hour 14 while carpentry transitioned to Zone B. Zero collision of active trade workers achieved across all 180m² of space.

Aligning vertical timber partitions. Checked tolerances against elevation drawings to guarantee a perfectly flush surface for decal graphic wrapping.
Erecting freestanding partition backings. Coordinating carpenters and painters to prep the base surfaces.
Graphics installers skinning the boards with character graphics. Checked for seam alignment under high-lux ambient mall lighting.
Staging display cabinets. Checked layout paths against egress codes to ensure safe shopper flows.
Quality check on wall joints and edge trims. Supervised painter touch-ups to eliminate timber gaps before mall inspection.
Opening morning lines. The freestanding framing successfully supported structural loads during peak visitor density.
The final stocked shelving systems. Visual layout pre-aligned to drawing directives for maximum checkout speeds.
Staging exterior queuing stanchions. The corridor coordinates matched security constraints, leading to zero crowd incidents.
